Male Portfolio and Business Portraits

This morning I attended a Happen program at the Burlington Art Centre. Paul Hill of Transition to hired was an engaging and relevant speaker on the topic of “proffessionalIbranding”- how to use social media sites such as linkedin, twitter and facebook and many more to build visibility and influence on the net. Favorite bon mots (that’s french for good turn of phrase) of Mr Hill’s was to do something uncomfortable – his suggestion, run out on the street in your underwear, {the underwear keeps you from getting arrested} it will do wonders for your confidence. Another astute bon mot was that the new economy forecast is for contract not full time positions, as he said full time jobs are going the way of the dodo bird.  His suggestion for effective networking were to put your photo on your business cards because its easier to put a face to a name and of course a polished inviting portrait makes it look like you have your shit together (I’m paraphrasing)

So in that spirit I would like to extend an offer to all HAPPEN attendees today and anyone needing an image for their social media sites, I am discussing with Jim Geragthy of HAPPEN doing a school style photo shoot of 2 poses/5 minutes/ 2 web files at a future ( no dates yet)  HAPPEN event for $45 but for anyone looking for a more personalized session (up to an hour) sooner than later,  with a couple of wardrobe changes, in an outdoor location and 10 web images – $150.  For a transformation model shoot with hair, makeup and styling, the rate is $275.
